This Privacy Policy tells you what to expect when Layered Consulting (“the company” or “we”) collect personal information.

Info – what?

For any visit to https://layeredconsulting.com/ Google Analytics is used to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.  This information is only processed in an anonymously.  We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We do not collect any personal data from visitors to our website and no data leaves the site and this includes search actions on our website that are processed within the website itself.

When you complete any of our online forms or surveys, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about us and other information we believe may be interesting to you.

Consent – how?

When you provide us with personal information, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. We also include a specific consent box on all of our forms.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Information access

Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Act 2018. If we do hold information about you, we will: give you a description that involves why we are holding it, to whom it could be disclosed, and for a small fee let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
