Observe and review impact of training opportunity.
Method
Attendance during a training session. We highlighted a previously unconsidered approach to feedback involving measured impact based on only on attendee feedback, but also objective modified global rating scales as the training involved a practical element. Our experience in “training trainers” and stimulation research led us to understand that an opportunity to leverage the delta in the learning curve through validated quantitative measurement could be exploited and drive positive training feedback.
Conclusion
The candidate feedback was significantly improved due to the enhanced learning experience. This reinforced the position of the educational department. The additional spin off was a natural marketing benefit.
